PREPARING FOR YOUR ARRIVAL:
How to book?
You can book directly online.
You will be asked for a deposit of 40% of the amount of your rental.
Rentals are only available from 4 pm. However, is it possible to arrive earlier?
Of course! In the meantime, enjoy the pool, bar/restaurant, …
And if your rental is ready before 4 pm, you can, by all means, move in. Otherwise, you will have to wait until 4 pm.
When we arrive, do we need to provide a deposit?
Indeed! For rentals, we’ll ask you for a €300 security deposit by cheque or credit card, to guarantee respect for rental facilities and cleanliness of your accommodation upon departure. The campsite will carry out an inspection of your rental after your departure. Deposits by cheque will be destroyed and credit card numbers will be erased automatically. Amounts may be deducted to cover the cost of any missing objects, damage and/or cleaning charges (€45).
For campsite pitches, you will be asked for a €10 deposit for your vehicle pass key. The deposit will be returned to you in exchange for the pass key.
Can we pay for our stay with “Chèques vacances” vouchers?
Seeing as the campsite is ANCV-approved ANCV, you can indeed use “Chèques vacances” vouchers.
We also accept other payment methods: bank transfers, cash, and credit card (Visa, Master Card, etc.).
Do we have to make an appointment for departure?
Seeing as our staff will carry out rental inspections after your departure, there’s no need for you to book an appointment before leaving.
In any case, you will be required to leave your rental before 10 am.
Are sheets and bath towels provided?
No, sheets and bath towels are not provided. However, you can rent:
- Set for double bed (1 set of sheets + 2 pillow cases): 12 euros
- Set for single bed (1 set of sheets + 1 pillow case): 10 euros
- Large towel: 3.50 euros
- Small towel: 2.50 euros
Do you rent cots and high chairs?
We rent cots for 2 euros a day. We highly recommend you book in advance!
Unfortunately, we don’t have a high chair rental service.
Are campsite pitches for vans / motorhomes / caravans close to the beach?
Given how steep the campsite grounds are, vans / motorhomes / caravans are not allowed in the lower part of the campsite. Reserved spots are marked with “V” on the campsite map.
Our campsite is accessible to persons with reduced mobility.
The campsite has been designed so to allow persons with reduced mobility to stay with us. However, the terrain is steep, so not all rentals can be accessed by persons with reduced mobility. Access to the beach requires taking a steep pathway. Persons with reduced mobility are required to contact the campsite by phone or email before making a reservation.
Do rentals have a TV?
No, our rentals don’t have a TV.
Do rentals have air-conditioning and heating?
Some rentals have reversible air-conditioning, with cool or warm air:
- Mobile homes
- NOUMEA cottages
- TORONTO cottages
- STELLA cottages
- PLEIN AIR cottages
Our Classic and Classic+ cottages have neither air-conditioning nor heating.
Are dogs allowed in rentals?
Yes, for an extra 5 euros a day and provided the dog doesn’t belong to dog Categories I or II, (“attack dogs”). In addition, you must keep your dog on a lead on campsite premises and leave the campsite for the dog to do its business. Under no circumstances should the dog be left alone. Dogs are not allowed in the pool area.
Is it possible to set up a tent next to rentals?
No, this is strictly forbidden.
You can book camping pitches to set up your caravan or tent.
Are barbecues allowed?
Only gas barbecues are allowed. Charcoal barbecues and any other electrical cooking device (barbecue, planchas, etc.) not provided by the campsite are strictly prohibited.
THE SWIMMING POOL:
What are the swimming pool opening hours?
The pool is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm.
In July and August, the pool is open from 10 am to 8 pm.
Is the pool heated?
The pool is heated throughout the campsite’s opening period: from 1st April 1 to 31 October.
Are swimming shorts allowed?
No. For hygiene reasons, only swimming costumes and trunks are allowed.
Is the pool supervised?
No, there is no lifeguard. However, during July and August, the campsite hires a pool supervisor.
Are shoes allowed in the pool area?
The footbath is mandatory. You should leave your shoes in a dedicated area at the pool entrance. You may, however, bring your shoes with you if you keep them in a bag.
Do you offer entertainment throughout the season?
We only offer entertainment in July and August. The entertainment we provide is suitable for both children and adults.
Do you have a kids club?
No, but we do have a playground for children (with a slide and more!).
How do you get to the beach?
L’Esplanade campsite offers direct access to Campitello beach. You can access the beach on foot, directly from the campsite. Rentals located in the lower part of the campsite are very close to the beach and those in the upper part are only 500 m away.
What does the campsite’s corner shop store sell? Are there supermarkets nearby?
The campsite corner shop offers basic necessity products for campsite guests and isn’t a supermarket alternative. For more choice, you will find supermarkets in Propriano (10-minute drive).
Does the campsite sell bread and pastries?
Yes, we have a fresh bread sale stand. Order your bread and pastries the day before.
Does the campsite have laundry facilities?
Yes, every sanitary block has a laundry area.
Buy washing machine tokens and laundry detergent at Reception (€6.00). You can use your own laundry detergent, tokens still cost €6.00.
Does the campsite have Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is available in the bar/restaurant area and around the campsite pool. To access the service, you must connect to the campsite’s Wi-Fi network (Wi-Fi Esplanade). You don’t need a password. It is also a free service.
